Software Tester Wanted at Ottawa IT Support Inc.

At Ottawa IT Support Inc., we're on the lookout for a meticulous and dedicated Software Tester to join our team. We are a leading provider of IT services in the Ottawa-Gatineau Metropolitan Area, offering a spectrum of services from cabling infrastructure and hosted VOIP systems to 24/7 customer support. Our projects range from large-scale commercial endeavors to intricate campus and residential projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify of various components integration of the software and end-to-end testing execution;

• Interact with the software developers and business users to communicate the defects using Jira, actively participating in replicating the bugs, and performing the regression testing;

• Participate in daily standup meetings and create reports as needed by the manager;

• Perform regression testing at various phases of development life cycle for impacted existing functionality;

• Involve in software's functional testing, black box testing, negative testing, compatibility testing, and recovery testing.

Qualifications:
